Our soap
Yes. Every bar is made with plant oils, botanicals, clays and natural colourants. We never use synthetic fragrances, detergents or artificial colours. Every bar is poured, cut and cured by hand in our Norfolk workshop.
We use the traditional cold‑process method, which keeps the natural glycerin in the bar for a gentle, skin‑friendly cleanse.
This depends entirely on how your soap is used and stored. Handmade soap will soften quickly if it sits in water or is used directly under running water for long periods of time.
For the best longevity, we recommend lathering the bar onto a cloth or sponge and keeping it somewhere well‑drained so it can dry out between washes. Our exfoliating soaps are best used directly on the skin, but try to do this out of the main stream of water to protect the bar as much as possible.
Your first bar will give you a good sense of how long a soap lasts with your own routine. Once you know that, it’s easy to work out how many bars you’ll need to stay stocked up, and keep those plastic bottles at bay.
Ingredients & sourcing
From cosmetic‑grade suppliers with clear species identification. We also grow a small handful of botanicals here in Norfolk, used mainly to decorate our packaging.
They’re gentle, natural and give soft, earthy tones. Synthetic colourants have no place here!
Some botanicals lose their vibrancy during the soap making process, but we do choose botanicals carefully to avoid this as best as possible.
Skin & sensitivities
Our From the Hive soap and Beeswax Moisturising Bar are essential oil free and made with short, gentle ingredient lists.
All other products contain essential oils and some contain exfoliating botanicals which some may be sensitive to.
If you’re unsure, we always recommend a patch test first and discontinuing use if any irritation occurs.
Yes. Our soap is suitable for use on the whole body.
None of our products are suitable for children aged three and under.
For older children, we recommend using skincare products with care. Every child’s skin is different, so if you’re unsure, a patch test is always best.

We don't currently ship internationally, we ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
