There's a moment in late summer when the hedgerows turn heavy. Blackberries darken on branches, countryside lanes turn thick and tangled and the air carries something wilder than the recently harvested fields.

This limited edition formulation captures that moment, the pause between summer and autumn, when the land gives generously before it rests.

The scent is soft and grounding: lavender for calm, rosemary for clarity, and rose geranium bringing a warm, floral depth. I chose these florals as they are bursting with fragrance this time of year in the cottage gardens I pass whilst out walking.

Madder root and French pink clay lend the bar its dusky pink-purple hue, while poppyseeds run through every bar, gently exfoliating with each use.

Handmade in our Norfolk studio using natural oils, botanicals and pure essential oils.

Coconut Oil

Adds cleansing power and a stable, bubbly lather while helping the bar stay firm.

Shea Butter

Boosts creaminess and skin softness, adding long-lasting moisture to the finished bar.

Olive Oil

Provides a gentle, conditioning lather and helps create a bar that’s kind to dry or sensitive skin.

Rice Bran Oil

Offers lightweight nourishment and supports a smooth, conditioning lather thanks to its natural antioxidants and fatty acids.

Castor Oil

Enhances lather stability and contributes to a smoother, more conditioning feel.

Beeswax

Locally sourced beeswax enriches the bar with a firm, long-lasting structure and a gentle, natural emollience that supports the skin’s moisture barrier.

Ingredients: Sodium Sheabutterate (Shea Butter), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Sodium Rice Branate (Rice Bran Oil), Sodium Castorate (Castor Oil), Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Lavandula Angustifolia Oil (Lavender Essential Oil), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary Essential Oil), Pelargonium Roseum Oil (Rose Geranium Essential Oil), Papaver Somniferum Seed (Poppy Seeds), Schinus Terebinthifolia Fruit (Pink Peppercorns), Montmorillonite (French Pink Clay), Rubia Tinctoria Root Powder (Madder Root Powder).

Allergens: Linalool, Geraniol, Limonene*

*These allergens occur naturally in essential oils.

Use your soap with warm water to build a rich lather, then rinse clean. Allow the bar to dry fully between uses by keeping it on a dish that drains well — good airflow helps it last longer and stay firm. Store any spare bars somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to use them.
